Born in 1974, Victoria lives
and works in Kent. She studied at the Kent Institute of Art and Design,
the University of Westminster and then at the Royal College of Art, London,
where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Natural History Illustration and
Ecological Studies.
Much of her work is inspired
by reptiles and, at the moment, predominantly birds. From inland, partly wooded
reserves to the mysteriously barren Dungeness, Kent has many habitats for birds
that have proven invaluable inspiration, while, further afield, her study of
them has taken her to some fascinating countries, including Egypt, South
Africa, Botswana, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
Exhibitions have included
the Fairfax Gallery, KPMG, London Zoo and Olympia.

Illustration commissions
include work for publishers both here in the UK and North America, the
Zoological Society of London, the Royal Mail, and the Natural History Museum,
London, where she worked in the Palaeontology Department and produced visual
reconstructions of prehistoric and extinct animals for the Museum’s Picture
Library and NHM website.
