Friends of the Society of Wildlife Artists

More people in Britain than in any other country in the world are interested in Natural History in one way or another.  It is felt therefore, that many who may themselves not be wildlife artists in their own right would like nevertheless to be associated with the society and its aims,  It is with this in mind that a Friends Membership of the Society of Wildlife Artists has been formed.  It is thus with pleasure that the President and Council welcome any such Friends to join and so identify themselves more closely with the work and functions of the Society.  They incur no liability for its management and will be admitted on the basis of an annual subscription of £17.  They would then enjoy the following privileges:-

  • Free admission to exhibitions or lectures arranged by the Society for themselves and a limited number of guests.

  • Attendance at Society's functions at reduced prices.

  • A proportion of their subscriptions (currently £200) will be devoted to the purchase of a work from the annual exhibition for presentation to a Friend chosen by ballot.

  • Receipt of a biannual newsletter (see below)

  • Other occasional benefits approved by the council.
